How it worksBy adding inexpensive wireless communication ability to ordinary timekeeping devices, such as embedded clocks found in household appliances and entertainment equipment, this enables each device to participate in a distributed network. Since these devices may be spread throughout a residential household, corporate building, or industrial setting, they may or may not be within signal range of each other. This type of network is referred to as an Ad-Hoc network. Using Mile10's patented protocol standard any device participating in this network can reliably distribute current-time information to the rest of the clocks in the network. Thus all clocks set themselves.
BenefitsHave a VCR or microwave that is still blinking 12:00? Never set the time of a new appliance again! Never reset a clock in the event of a power failure! Never reset a clock for daylight savings time! Want to advance the time of the clocks in your household a few minutes ahead or behind? Set the time on one clock and the rest of the clocks in your home are updated instantly! Annoyed that each clock in your house reads a slightly different time? (1:32, 1:27, 1:35, etc...) With Mile10 technology all your clocks keep perfectly synchronized time to the second!
